Background

A year of brainstorming and an atmosphere of light gave birth to a digital flower which blossomed and by the end of the summer 2007 was named and registered as Zahra Productions.

The name “Zahra” is the name of a flower in the Persian language and in Arabic it means illumination. It is also a nickname that was given to the prophet Muhammad’’s daughter as, according to the legend of her birth, the entire sky was illuminated with light when she opened her eyes the first time as a baby.

This background made us feel that “Zahra Productions” is a honorable and beautiful signature to put it on our creations since we aspire to illuminate the virtual world with our works and be a source of inspiration for other thirsty seekers who perhaps not have reached as far.

Working Areas

There are many areas, both in the virtual and the real world, that interests us and which we gladly work on. Our main engine which drives us forth is the power of the mind and its creativity. Perfection is our goal and we have a particular desire to explore untouched areas and create what has not yet been created or alternatively bring what has been produced to a higher level.

Art in all its aspect is a divine gift that make the human being so unique and it is this faculty which we want to strengthen.

Consequently we would like to call ourselves digital poets since what we do is poetry; poetry in the form of words and writings and also poetry in the form of designs, interfaces and programming

We have studied on an academic level but it must be said that much of the knowledge and experience we have gathered that we mostly use in our work have been gained through personal efforts.

We work both with commercially as well as guiding and volunteer work, depending upon what kind of project it is. Consults us with your ideas and visions and we will do our best to realize them!

What We Do

We are mainly focused in IT-solutions of various kinds, covering both websites as well as coding programs. Websites based upon CMS (Content Management System) with user-friendly graphical interfaces for easy uploading and editing of content is an area we have worked much on the latest years. The reason is quite simple. CMS-based systems have many positive aspects both for the developer as well as the users. It can be customized to do nearly anything and can be integrated with most working platforms. Also since it is open-source software, many widgets and plugins exists and can be installed to enrich the content and presentation of the site.
